Achievements 2021-2022
72nd Senior Men & 36th Senior Women Weightlifting Championship conducted by Thoothukudi District Weightlifting Association on 27th March 2022. 65 lifters were participated. Men Section Salem won Overall team Championship and Runner up by Thiruvallur District. In Women Section Salem District won Overall team Championship and Runner up by Tirunelveli District

15th Youth Boys & Girls and 41st Men and 28th Women Championships were held at Salem on 2nd & 3rd January 2021.
Winner: Salem Runner up: Thoothukudi
71st Men & 35th Women Senior Championship
The above State Championship was well organized at TDMNS College, T.Kallikulam on 27th & 28th March 2021.

14th Youth Boys & Girls and 40th Men and 27th Women Championships were held at Pattukottai, Thanjavur on 28th & 29th September 2019.

The Tamilnadu Weightlifting Association conducted the Junior Boys & Girls, Senior Men & Women Championships successfully.
It is also conducted the South India Boys & Girls, Junior Men & Women Championships at Coimbatore during February 2019.

The Tamilnadu Weightlifting Team participated in the South India Weightlifting Championship held at Hyderabad.

Tamilnadu Lifter Mr. S.Sathish Kumar won the Gold Medal at the recently held Commonwealth Championship at Pune 2015.

1. 35th National Games at Trissur, Kerala from 2nd to 6th February 2015. Mr. S.Satish Kumar won the Gold in 77kg. Category (Men), Mr. C.E.Rangaraj won the Bronze Medal in 69kg. Category (Men), Ms. P.Anuradha won the Bronze Medal in +75kg. Category (Women).
2. 9th Youth Boys & Girls State Weightlifting Championship on 11th & 12th October 2014 at Chennai
Achievements 2013-2014
M.Saravanakumar in 94kg won Silver and Junior Kanojkumar 56kg. won Gold.
Achievements 2012-2013
Shri M.Tamilselvan, Coach and former Secretary, who participated in Commonwealth Weightlifting Championship held at New Zealand during May 2012.
Shri N.Sunil secured a Gold Medal and Shri Sathish Kumar also won a Gold Medal in the above Commonwealth Championship.
Achievements 2011-2012
At the Commonwealth Weight Lifting Championship held at APIA SAMOA 2012. Tamilnadu Lifters Sri N.Sunil Kumar 69kg and Sri S.Sathish Kumar 77kg won Gold Medals each.
