Achievements 2017-2018

Tamilnadu Tennis Association with the support of Government of Tamilnadu, Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu, All India Tennis Association successfully conducted the “Chennai Open 2018” from 12th to 17th February 2018 at Chennai.

Besides top Indian Players, players from 19 Nations participated in this prestigious ATP Tournament.

Doubles winners were N.Sriram Balaji and Vishnu Vardhan from Tamilnadu (India)

With the support of SDAT, and other corporate sponsors the Tournament was held from 2nd to 8th January 2017. 23 Nations participated.

Achievements 2015-2016

With the support of Government of Tamilnadu, Sports Development Authority of Tamilnadu, All India Tennis Association and other Corporate Sponsors, the Aircel Chennai Open 2016 was successfully conducted from 4th to 10th January 2016. Besides the top Indian Players, Players from 33 nations participated in this prestigious ATP Tournament, the only one conducted in South Asia.

Achievements 2014-2015

6 International Tournaments: 1 Women’s Futures, 2 Men’s Futures, 2 Veterans and 1 Junior were conducted. In the Men’s Futures, Tamilnadu players Vijaya Sunder Prashanth won 2 Singles Titles & Ramkumar Ramanathan was the runner-up in the Singles event. Ramkumar Ramanathan & R. Arun Prakash were the winners in the Doubles event. N.Sriram Balaji & V.M.Ranjith were the runners-up in the doubles event.

The Tamilnadu Tennis Association participated in the 35th National Games held at Trivandrum, Tamil Nadu secured 2 Gold, 2 Silver & 2 Bronze Medals. Ramkumar Ramanathan won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Singles.

Achievements 2013-2014

10 International Tournaments: 1 Women’s Futures, 7 Men’s Futures, 1 Veterans and 1 Junior were conducted. In the Men’s Futures, Tamilnadu players Pranjesh, Sriram Balaji and Jeevan Nedunchezhian won a Singles Title each

Achievements 2012-2013

Tamilnadu Tennis Association participated in the TVS ITF futures Championship 2012 held at Madurai during April 2012 and won the Singles & Doubles Title – Jeevan Nedunchezhian Singles & Sriram balaji/P.Vignesh in doubles.

Tamilnadu players N. Sriram Balaji won in Singles and Rupesh Roy/Vivek Shokeen won in the doubles in the MCC – S.R.Subramaniam Memorial ITF Men’s Futures held at Egmore, Chennai during April 2012.

The India Oil Serve Men’s Futures was held in Chennai from 23rd to 28th July 2012 and Saketh Myneni won Gold.

Under the above the ITTF Junior 5 Tournament was held at Triangle Tennis Trust from 5th to 10th September 2011 for Boys U-18 and Girls U-18 Singles and Doubles, besides ITTF Futures for Men Singles & Double were conducted.
