State Championships

a) 22nd Sub-Junior State Fencing Championship at Noble Matriculation Higher Secondary School, virudhunagar district on 27th & 28th February 2021

b) 28th Junior State Fencing Championship at Kanniyakumari District Fencing Association Training Centre, Kallupalam on 4th & 5th March 2021

c) 31st Senior State Fencing Championship at Kanniyakumari District Fencing Association Training Centre, Kallupalam on 6th & 7th March 2021

National Championships

Tamilnadu team participated in the 31st Senior National Championship held at Rudrapur, Uttarakhand from 15th to 17th March 2021. Tamilnadu team won 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals.

Miss. Bhavani is representing India in the forthcoming Olympics at Tokyo 2021. She won Bronze Medal in Vikings Cup Women’s World Cup Satellite Sabre Tournament

Achievements 2016-2017

Senior State Championship at Maccan Architect Engineering College Indoor Stadium by Ooty District on 15th & 16th March 2017.

Organized summer Fencing Coaching Camp for 80 Boys & Girls during April 2016 at Renukambal College of Physical Education, Polur with systematic and scientific coaching methods.

Achievements 2015-2016

Fencing Sport Association conducted Summer Coaching Camps at District headquarters for a period of 15 days with scientific training. It also sent teams for the National Championships

Achievements 2014-2015

Tamilnadu Fencers participated in the 35th National Games held at Kerala from 31st January to 14th February 2015 and won 2 Gold Medals. Mr. K.P.Gishonidhi won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Sabre Event and Tamilnadu won the Gold Medal in the Men’s Sabre Team event.
